Twitter Follow, Refollow, Unfollow and Block Policy
This policy is in effect for the account @primatage, owned by Matthew Rogers. For any questions related to Twitter, please see the Twitter Terms of Service.
Follow:
My Initial Follow policy is simple. In order for me to feel that I must follow you, you must be interesting. I do not spend time searching for new people to follow, so the chances of an initial follow are slim to none without friendly intercession. On that note, the rare occasion may arise when a person of interest is introduced to me, in which case an initial follow will occur. Otherwise, I mainly deal with refollows. As a general rule, I do not follow celebrities unless they have followed me. I freely make exception to this rule, depending on the person in question.
Refollow:
My Refollow policy has become stringent as of late, due to the amount of spam accounts on Twitter.
The new policy rules are as follows:
Unfollow:
I routinely cull my account in search of violations to the rules stated above. When accounts are found they are immediately unfollowed. In addition to the stated rules, if your account should Auto-DM me for any reason, while not showing enough worth to justify restraint, you will be immediately unfollowed. I freely make exception to this rule in the case of proven accounts.
Block:
If I find your account to be abusive in any way, as deemed by myself, I will not only immediately unfollow you but I will proceed to block you as well as report your account as spam.
Addendum:
These rules, simple as they may be, are necessary. Do not think ill of me for being so blunt; if anything here has offended you, then I regret to inform you that I honestly don't care. There is nothing here that would offend a reasonable person.
